Applications will be accepted for each of the prizes listed below, starting with the email notification of the scholarships sent to all students by University. The scholarships that University provides are listed below:

National Merit Scholarship Scheme: 82000 new scholarships for professional programs including engineering and medical, as well as graduate and PG studies at colleges and universities, will be awarded each year [41000 for boys and 41000 for females]. Which candidates get the scholarships will depend on the results of the senior secondary test.

A student must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible: they must not belong to the creamy layer as defined by the Department of Personnel and Training; they must be in class 12th of the 12th pattern or equivalent; they must be above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream for a given Board of Examination. In addition, the student must not be qualified for any other scholarship program and be engaged in traditional courses from approved educational institutions, neither correspondence or remote learning. This holds true for both "reserved" and "general" student groups.
